Finding the model and serial number for your appliance can be a little tricky. So we've made the following guides to make your efforts easier.
For countertop microwaves, the model and serial number can either be found: on the back of the unit or if you open the door of the microwave, it could be on the edge of the control panel or on the edge of where the door meets the microwave. If you have an over the range microwave, you can find the model number is the same locations as the countertop microwave or on the bottom side of the microwave.
To find the model, serial and plate number, open the door and look down either the left or the right side edge of the door. It could also be located where the door edge meets the tub.
For the model, serial and plate number, open the bottom drawer of the stove. You should see the tag on the stove's frame rail, like what's shown in the picture. On older stoves, you should be able to find the model number on either the back or the bottom of the fuse panel cover. If it's not there, look in the same spots as the newer stoves as indicated above.
Your model number can be found along the sides, top or bottom edges of where the door meets the oven.
The model, serial and plate number can be located on the inside wall of the freezer near the top, on the back or on the access panel for the compressor(motor).
Look on the side walls of the freezer or behind the kick plate for the model, serial and plate number.
You can find the model, serial and plate number on either side of the fridge compartment walls. For older models, you might have to look behind the toe kick plate.
Front Load Washers
If you open the door to the washer, your model number will either be on the door or where the door meets the cabinet.
Top Load Washers
Look on the bottom of the lid or around the edge where the lid seals for your model number. For older models, you can find the model number on the back of the console.
When you open the door to the washer, your model number will either be on the door or where the door meets the cabinet.
